Joseph Campbell

Joseph was the world's formost student of mythology.  He couldn't help applying the teachings of the ages to personal mythologies.  His teachings survive him and are alive in many people.  I owe him, as do the ages, a debt of gratitude that I hope I repay my teaching my students to recognize their own personal mythologies.
